Tender description

NI Water wishes to appoint a Pension Management Services Provider who will provide actuarial and consultancy services in relation to NI Water Pension(s) arrangements. The NI Water Pension Scheme is a defined benefit (“DB”) pension scheme operated by NI Water Pension Trust Company. It has four sections and has approximately 2000 members. This tender’s objective is to appoint a service provider to undertake corporate pension management services on behalf of NI Water relating to the NI Water Scheme. NI Water also operates a defined contribution (“DC”) stakeholder arrangement operated by Standard Life, the Northern Ireland Water Limited Partnership Stakeholder Scheme (“the DC Scheme”). The DC Scheme has limited current pensions advisory requirements as it has no members, but respondents to the tender should indicate their ability to provide the range of DC services set out in this document should the membership of the DC Scheme increase.
