Tender description

The requirement is for delivery of a translation service from English to Welsh and less frequently, from Welsh to English. As a minimum, the service must deliver the following: • Accurate, timely and clear translation of a wide range of materials from English to Welsh and vice versa • Simultaneous translation as and when required • Undertake a number of projects at the same time during busy periods and the ability to work to very tight deadlines • Proof reading of documents • Ability to turn around within constrained timescales, e.g., one hour if the translation is urgent. • Quarterly contract management meetings at the Ofcom Wales Office It would be preferable were the service also able to: • maintain and develop a cloud-based dictionary of complex Ofcom terms which can be shared with Ofcom Wales staff to ensure consistency across translations.
