C0623 Extension to Ballymoney Park and Ride

Tender description

Ballymoney Railway Station currently has a Park & Ride located in the easterly direction from the station providing 59 parking spaces. The Park & Ride is oversubscribed with the affect that passengers using the station daily are occupying customer parking spaces of neighbouring businesses and parking on Seymour Street near the station. Translink wish to appoint an Economic Operator to carryout works to facilitate an extension to the existing park and ride facility providing 46 additional parking spaces. Works include – • Demolition of the existing accommodation block and construction of a new replacement facility. • Adjustment to external envelope of Bus wash and relocation of fuel and oil dispensation points within Bus wash. • Ancillary works including drainage, CCTV and resurfacing and realignment of kerbs • Relocation of the diesel fuel tank and fuel pump and provision of security caging.
