C0423 Belfast Transport Hub - Asbestos Survey

Tender description

Belfast Transport Hub – Asbestos Survey Translink are progressing the development of the Belfast Transport Hub at the location of Great Victoria Street in Belfast City Centre and wish to appoint a Specialist Contractor to undertake a Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos survey of existing buildings and structures at the Belfast Transport Hub site in accordance with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Publication HSEG264 guidance [1] and the Control of Asbestos Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 [2]. The survey shall locate and describe, as far as reasonably practical, all Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) within buildings across the site. The survey shall be a fully intrusive investigation and may require destructive inspection, to gain access to all areas, including those which may be difficult to reach. Reliable, robust and warranted surveys of the location, type and condition of asbestos present throughout the site are required.
