Bovine Identity Tagging & Tissue Sampling

Tender description

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) Veterinary Service (VS) requires a contractor to:- 1. Supply a tissue sampling ear tag system, for use in live bovine animals in field conditions that will take a tissue sample as the tag is applied and also visibly identify the animal to which it is applied. 2. The requirement does not include storage, DNA matching or transport of the samples The contract will be for a period of 3 years Tender documents can be obtained electronically for registered users of Central Procurement Directorate’s e-sourcing system, e-sourcing NI.
