Tyrone Donegal Partnership has received funding under the Peace III, Theme 1.2 “Acknowledging and Dealing with the Past”, being delivered by the Community Relations Council/Pobal consortium, to deliver a Video Storytelling project focused solely on the Border Region of Northern Ireland, entitled Border Lives. The project will establish a website, telling the story of 6 events that occurred within the Border Counties during the conflict. It will capture over 80 different perspectives from people who witnessed these events, detailing the impact that these incidents had on a personal and wider level i.e. family, community, workplace, housing estate, parish etc and within the context of the Conflict. This project is particularly interested in those events, stories, areas and people who have not had the opportunity to tell their story yet. TDP are seeking applications from suitably qualified multimedia production companies/consortia for the following work:- 1. Recording of 6 Films including 80 Stories & Post Production 2. Design & Editing of 7 Viral Videos TDP will be looking for a video production contractor who can bring a creative flair and technical expertise to 6 films for this project. The awarded video production contractor will have vast experience in interviewing individuals and being able to extract compelling unheard stories that explores the legacy and memories of the conflict through truth recovery documentation, storytelling and video recording of the Border Region’s complex history and experiences in the last 40 years.
