Boat SIMAR & Purchase Framework

Tender description

The purpose of the framework is to support the Environment Agency’s efficient management of the non coded boat fleet and ensure that through the provision of a comprehensive maintenance and repair service that the fleet remains in a good safe working condition. Small Vessel SIMAR refers to the Servicing, Inspection, Maintenance and Repair of the Environment Agency’s non-coded boat fleet, including a wide variety of boats, trailers and outboard motors. Other Defra bodies vessels may become part of the framework over time. This procurement exercise supports our front line local service delivery by ensuring our vessels and associated equipment are maintained to the highest safety, operational and environmental standards, whilst minimising asset down time. In addition to SIMAR we are seeking to occasionally purchase specialist small vessels and ancillaries.
