Birmingham Children's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust would like to invite respondents (“Bidders”) to submit their PQQs for consideration of delivering the CAMHS Tier 4 (Parkview New Build and Refurbishment) Project. The project is split into four (4) distinct phases: Phase 1 - alteration and extension to existing site form a new ward with suited single bedroom accommodation for adolescent mental health care. This shall include for a 10 bedded extension on the Parkview site; Phases 2, 3 and 4 - alterations, extensions and refurbishment of 3 existing wards to create suited single bedroom accommodation for adolescent health care, resulting in a total service provision of 44 single bedrooms with en suite facilities. Bidders are to note, this pre-qualification questionnaire and resulting invitation to tender process incorporates the full 4 phases of works. Each phase of works shall be awarded under a separate JCT contract, and there is no guarantee that the successful bidder shall be awarded all 4 phases: should the provision of adolescent mental health care alter (either by central government or the commissioners) the Trust reserves the right to suspend award of any further phases of work.
