BIG001-0994 Support for Digital Fund Strands 1 and 2 Grantees

The Fund is seeking to engage a service provider(s) to support organisations that are awarded grants through the Big Lottery Fund - Digital Fund. The Digital Fund is a new UK wide £15 million funding programme to support charities and community organisations. It is about helping the charity and voluntary sector to use digital tools and approaches to support people and communities to thrive. Part of the Digital Fund is two strands of funding that opened for applications on 22nd October 2018: • Digital Fund Strand 1 offers grants of up to £500,000 and a tailored support package. The aim is to help established organisations use digital to take a major leap forward. We expect grants to last from 1 to 4 years. • Digital Fund Strand 2 offers grants of up to £500,000 for newer organisations that have already launched promising services that use digital to achieve scale or impact. We expect grants to last from 1 to 4 years. More information about the Digital Fund can be found at https://www.biglotteryfund.org.uk/funding/programmes/digital-fund We expect there to be a total of 25-30 grants across the two strands, with funding awarded in the current and next financial year. In order to help Strand 1 and Strand 2 Grantees successfully deliver their projects we require a service provider(s) to provide tailored support and guidance to grantees. Due to the very different needs of organisations funded in the two strands this work is offered in two Lots. 1. Lot 1 - Support, advice and guidance for Strand 1 Grantees. 2. Lot 2 - Support, advice and guidance for Strand 2 Grantees. A service provider will be appointed for each Lot, and it is possible that the same service provider could be appointed for each Lot. Accordingly Bidders can bid for Lot 1 or Lot 2 or for both Lots.
