BHSCT- Framework for Electrical Maintenance & Minor Electrical Installation Work

Tender description

The Belfast Health and Social Care Trust Estates Department ( the Contracting Authority ) wishes to establish four single-operator frameworks based on defined sectors in the Belfast region. The frameworks will include the provision of Electrical Maintenance Works and Minor Electrical Installation Works which may incorporate Electrical Repairs, Electrical Testing, Electrical Installation Works such as Fire Alarm systems, Emergency Lighting systems, Electrical Power Installations, Lighting Systems, Control systems, BMS systems, IT and Telecommunication systems, Security and CCTV systems and include Building and Mechanical works and other related Specialist Works. In addition to the four Economic Operators appointed to four sectors, a fifth operator will be appointed as a Reserve Economic Operator. Economic Operators should note that the Contracting Authority shall also seek to appoint separate Framework Agreements with Building and Mechanical Economic Operators. It shall be a condition of the Framework Agreement that Economic Operators shall have resources available to address any works required 24 hours per day and 365 days per year (including all weekends and all holiday periods). For the purposes of the Framework Agreement works are defined as any Electrical Maintenance Works and Minor Electrical Installation Works scheme with a cost of between £5.00 and £50,000.00. Minor Electrical Installation Works may comprise new Electrical Installation Works, Fire Alarm systems, Emergency Lighting systems, Electrical Power Installations, Lighting Systems, Control systems, BMS systems, IT and Telecommunication systems, Security and CCTV systems and other related Specialist Works and electrical enabling works in advance of major capital works schemes.
