BHSCT - ALTERATIONS AND UPGRADE WORKS TO RADIOPHARMACY FACILITY, FER

Tender description

This project is for alterations and upgrade works to the existing Radiopharmacy Facility, Ferguson Building on the Royal Victoria Hospital site to include Building, Mechanical & Electrical works. The aim is to improve the existing changing room & associated facilities at Radiopharmacy in line with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) requirements along with the following additional guidelines: • EU Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) – Medicinal Products for Human & Veterinary use (Annex 1). • MHRA Rules & Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Distrubutors • HBN 14-01 Pharmacy & Radiopharmacy Facilities. • BS EN ISO 14644 Cleanrooms & Associated Controlled Environments. • HTM 03-01 Specialised Ventilation Requirements for Healthcare Premises. • All other HTM’s & HBN’s applicable. The above list is not exhaustive; all current relevant standards applicable to Building, Mechanical & electrical works within a Healthcare Environment (including statutory compliances) should be adhered to. All applicants should be aware that selection of suitable sub contractors is critical to the successful appointment of a main contractor. For clarity, we have identified the tier 1 sub contractor’s required as follows: • Mechanical sub contractor • Electrical sub contractor • Clean Room sub contractor
