Benchmarking and Analytical Tool

Tender description

The East Midlands Academic Health Science Network is looking to procure an integrated, feature rich benchmarking and analytical tool to enable users to interrogate existing and future datasets and facilitate analysis for research and clinical and organisational improvements. This is initially a one year contract for the eight provider organisations in the East Midlands with the option to extend for those organisations who would like to do so and additional organisations if required. The supplier must have access to Hospital Episode Statistics, including access NHS number or local patient identifiers and consultant names. The system is to include other national and local datasets such as finance data, patient safety (Datix/NRLs), mortality (HSMR/SHMI) data etc as well as replicating national regulator metrics including CQC and Monitor. More details of the data sets and functionality required can be found in the attached document. The solution should include extensive analytical tools including access to underlying data for bespoke analysis and research. It should also provide end user reporting tools to support managers’ analysis and benchmarking both against peers, regionally and nationally and support interrogation by end users. The solution should be web enabled and hosted in a data warehouse provided by the supplier who must comply with all NHS Information Governance requirements.
