Tender description

Bench-top Automated DNA extractor The Inherited Metabolic Disorders Molecular Genetics Laboratory at Birmingham Children’s Hospital requires an automated benchtop DNA extractor. This is to obtain DNA from a variety of human body fluids and tissue specimens. Extracted DNA is used for molecular genetic diagnostic analysis in-house and in other genetic diagnostic centres including PCR, real-time PCR, Southern blotting, DNA sequencing and MLPA. The contract is for the Supply of a Automated Benchtop DNA extractor.
