BBC - Tender for Construction of New Community Centre & Team Changing Facilities The work consists of the demolition of existing building and construction of new community centre and team changing facilities at Harryville Playing Fields. The building is of traditional construction with deep strip concrete foundations, a mixture of loadbearing blockwork external walls and steel frame, low pitch metal deck roof, aluminium windows and external doors, traditional internal finishes and full mechanical and electrical installations. External work includes car parking, steps and ramps, retaining walls, boundary fencing, drainage and new service connections. The above paragraph is only a short form description of the Works. The Contractor shall provide the Works in accordance with the Works Information (see Document 2 of 2).
