Tender for Project Management Led Construction Design Team for the Proposed Refurbishment of Ecos Millennium Environmental Centre as the First Digitally Supported Environmental Business Incubation Centre in Northern Ireland Briefing Day There will be an opportunity for tenderers to attend a briefing day at the Ecos Millennium Environmental Centre, prior to submitting a tender bid. The briefing day is on Wednesday 26th November 2014 at 10:00am. Proposal The Council (The Client) wishes to progress the above refurbishment project through preparation of design brief, concept and technical design and to progress onto detail design / works information, tender, implementation project management and completion (RIBA Plan of Work 2013 Stages 0-7) The project will require Planning & Building Control Approval. The construction phase will be carried out by a Principal Contractor appointed via a separate tender process, administered by the Lead Architect It is a requirement that the Design Team will be led by a Project Manager and is to include the services as necessary of an Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Structural Engineer, Building Surveyor, Fire Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Renewable Energy Consultant, Interpretive Specialist Designer (including use of digital displays and Apps) and CDM Co-coordinator.
