BBC Exhibition (Display & Build) and Display Equipment.

Tender description

The objective of this procurement process is to appoint a framework of preferred suppliers who will provide exhibition and display equipment, including but not limited to stands, banners and displays. This procurement will also include bespoke exhibition design and build, where the supplier will provide design and planning of exhibition spaces and structures, as per the customer’s brief. Suppliers will also be expected to supply a variety of products including but not limited to portable exhibition stands, pull down banners, pop-up displays and modular panelling systems. Some products may have to be leased or hired to the BBC during the life of the Contract. Amongst the services suppliers will be expected to deliver are bespoke exhibition design and build including stationary exhibition stands, podiums and light boxes. The requirement will cover London and English Regions, Wales and Scotland. The requirement will be divided into 3 Lots as shown below. Lot 1: Exhibition Services – London and English Regions (locations can be found in Appendix 3 – BBC Locations) Lot 2: Exhibition Services – Wales (locations can be found in Appendix 3 – BBC Locations). Lot 3: Exhibition Services – Scotland (locations can be found in Appendix 3 – BBC Locations). We estimate that over 80% of our requirements are either first time or bespoke orders, and often our staff approach suppliers with a budget, seeking advice on what would be the most effective items to meet their needs. The BBC are looking to appoint a maximum of 4 suppliers per lot. Each lot will be evaluated independently of each other. The suppliers will have to complete a different requirement questionnaire for each Lot they wish to be considered for. For example, if a supplier wishes to be considered for Lots 1, 2 and 3, they would be required to complete all 3 Requirement Questionnaires. Suppliers are invited to bid for any combination of 1, 2 or 3 Lots.
