Tender description

As part of an improvement scheme at the junction of Arrowe Park Road/Arrowe Brook Road, Wirral Council is working collaboratively with LCR and their appointed contractor NGE Contracting. NGE Contracting will be required to supply and install a quantity of traffic signal duct and access chambers within a pre excavated trench which has been dug, for LCR Fibre Cable rollout, through the Dig Once initiative. This will save Wirral Council funds as Wirral Council will only be paying for 50% of the excavation & Traffic Management costs along with the associated ducts and chambers. It will also minimise disruption to the local highway network.
