AQP MSK Physiotherapy Service for NHS Medway CCG

Tender description

This notice relates to the procurement of a community AQP MSK Physiotherapy service – Adults (over 16) for NHS Medway CCG (the Commissioner). The Commissioner is a group of 58 GP practices from across the Medway towns, serving a practice population of 283,000. The Commissioner is supported in this project by the AQP Support Hub (the CSU) which is managing this procurement. To provide a comprehensive, high quality, evidence based service that has a strong focus on the measurement of quality of provision from point of entry into the service, through to patient outcomes. The AQP service will be patient-centred, offering choice and easy access to locally delivered community clinics, which will provide a high quality, efficient service in line with national guidance and local requirements. Please note that under ‘Any Qualified Provider’ contracts there will be no guarantees of volume in the contracts awarded. Further, prices (e.g. hourly rates) are set. The Service Commencement date is 01 December 2014. However, the commissioners would like a two week period of double running with the current incumbents, to ensure service continuity, from 17 November 2014 to 01 December 2014. The Bravo Messaging system for questions from Applicants will close on Tuesday 12 August 2014 at 12 noon, allowing time for answers to be posted and applicants to complete their applications by the reply by date of Tuesday 19 August 2014 at 12 noon. If Applicants are asked Clarification Questions during the Evaluation Stages, they have 48 hours in which to respond. Please ensure that you have staff available to answer the questions, which will be sent to you by email. Failure to respond in the given time could adversely impact your application.
