Tender description
NHS Nene and NHS Corby Clinical Commissioning Groups require high quality domiciliary continuing healthcare services for appropriately assessed service users of Northamptonshire who live within or close to these geographical boundaries. We plan to implement these new contracts from December 2014. Please note that under ‘Any Qualified Provider’ contracts there will be no guarantees of volume in the contracts awarded. Further, prices (e.g. hourly rates) are set. The purpose of domiciliary care is to enable service users to remain in their own homes, living as independently as possible. Service Users will principally be adults aged 18 years or over with additional health needs arising from frailty, illness, accident or disability. These people, without support, would have difficulty in maintaining a reasonable standard of life in the community. The service may also be provided to give relief to an informal carer. Services include providing: a) Non - complex general care including End of Life (Fast track) cases b) Complex care requiring some specialist knowledge or training to people who may suffer: • Learning Disabilities • Mental Health (including Dementia) • Physical Disabilities (including Brain Injury) Please note that this is a reopening of this AQP Offer, all providers who applied within the first window of this offer, in June 2014, and have been qualified need not apply again. The Bravo Messaging system for questions from Applicants will close on Monday 20 October 2014 at 12 noon, allowing time for answers to be posted and applicants to complete their applications by the reply by date of Monday 27 October 2014 at 12 noon. If Applicants are asked Clarification Questions during the Evaluation Stages, they have 48 hours in which to respond. Please ensure that you have staff available to answer the questions, which will be sent to you by email. Failure to respond in the given time could adversely impact your application.
