AQP Assisted Conception Service (In Vitro Fertilization - IVF) - Merton CCG

Tender description

The purpose of the Assisted Conception service is to provide a range of appropriate assisted conception services for couples who meet the eligibility criteria. The objective of treatment for subfertility is to achieve a successful pregnancy quickly and safely with the least intervention required and the delivery of a healthy child. Currently the service will provide 1 cycle of IVF with a view that further increases in the number of cycles may be offered in the future dependent upon local governance decisions and available funding. Please note that under ‘Any Qualified Provider’ contracts there will be no guarantees of volume in the contracts awarded. Further, prices (e.g. hourly rates) are set. The Commissioner is supported in this project by the AQP Support Hub (the CSU) which is managing this procurement. The Service Commencement date is 01 March 2015. The Bravo Messaging system for questions from Applicants will close on Friday 31 October 2014 at 12 noon, allowing time for answers to be posted and applicants to complete their applications by the reply by date of Friday 07 November 2014 at 12 noon. If Applicants are asked Clarification Questions during the Evaluation Stages, they have 48 hours in which to respond. Please ensure that you have staff available to answer the questions, which will be sent to you by email. Failure to respond in the given time could adversely impact your application.
