ANDBC Tender For the Provision of Two Maritime Themed Public Art Features

Tenders are sought by Ards and North Down Borough Council for the design, production and erection of two maritime themed public art features that will be located in Bangor Town Centre. There are two Lots within this tender. Each Lot will be evaluated separately therefore separate Artists may be appointed for each Lot. Tenderers may apply for either one or both Lots. The commission is for two strong, site-specific artworks, which will bring a ‘maritime feature’ to two areas within the Town; Lot 1 – Main Street, Bangor Lot 2 – Bridge Street, Bangor The Council wish to commission an Artist(s) to bring their creativity to the challenge, reflecting the unique maritime history of the area. The design should be unique, innovative, creative and have the potential for international standout recognition. The design should also be easily maintained and have the ability to stand the test of time.
