Tender description
AFBI are currently seeking to purchase a feed intake and feeding behaviour monitoring system with the capacity to allow intakes and feeding behaviour of 52 dairy cows to be recorded individually. The system will comprise 18 feed intake stations, and will be used to record intakes of silage only diets, diets consisting of silage and concentrate mixtures, as well as intakes of other forages. The system will be installed within an existing dairy cow house.
