Tender description
** Building Access Control Systems - REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ** The BBC is looking to gain an understanding of the developments in access control technology and how they are likely to develop in the future. In addition, validate the BBC’s anticipated functional requirements against current market products and development roadmaps, investigate potential supplementary uses of Access Control & ID cards, gain an appreciation of the possible commercial models around financing, ownership, support and operation of access control, understand the likely capital and operational costs of the replacement system together with the return on investment in order to inform the business case for replacement. The above information will inform the strategic direction of Access Control in the BBC and enable planning and preparation for the procurement of the replacement system.
