Tender description

The Authority requires a service to provide Duty Security Officers (DSOs) at the following 4 posts: • British Embassy Cairo, Egypt; • British Embassy Moscow, Russian Federation; • British Embassy Beijing, China; • British Consulate General, Hong Kong; Owing to the range of duties undertaken within the Missions, the DSOs must hold Developed Vetting (DV) clearance and be British nationals with proven experience and qualifications in the security sector. The Duty Security Officers assist the Post Security Officers (PSOs) and Regional Overseas Security Managers (ROSMs) to manage Security at the Missions out of hours. The Contractor will provide a security service on an out-of-office-hours basis throughout the contract period in order to prevent unauthorised access to the buildings. Whilst HR Management of the DSOs is the direct responsibility of the Contractor’s Supervisor/Manager, day-to-day supervision of the DSOs at Post lies with the Authority’s Representative locally. All PQQ documentation will be published and all substantive communication will be conducted via the FCO’s eProcurement Portal BRAVOSolution.
