Tender description

This Procurement Event seeks to tender Network Rail’s General Office Supplies contract. The aim of this Procurement Event is to select a single supplier who shall provide Network Rail’s General Office Supplies requirements going forward. Whilst Network Rail is a diverse organisation, it is essential that the successful supplier provides a single electronic Punchout core catalogue of goods that present Network Rail customers with a fit for purpose, wide range, yet narrow choice of products for 99% of the organisation’s volume. Network Rail’s existing General Office Supplies contract has circa 4,200 individual customers, located across circa 950 postcodes throughout England, Scotland and Wales. Network Rail’s locations comprise both corporate and operational sites in both urban and rural locations. The supplier shall be required to deliver to any specified Network Rail address throughout the duration of the contract. Network Rail will carry out a multi stage tender process consisting of 2 (two) stages down selecting at each stage in accordance with the procurement documentation attached to this Opportunity Listing. This Procurement Event shall culminate in an electronic reverse auction. A contract will only be awarded by Network Rail to a single supplier on conclusion of post eAuction due diligence and in accordance with the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) score.
