#1839 - Civils Examination Framework Agreement CP6

Tender description

Network Rail requires services and works for the provision of Civils Examination Services in the Wales and Western, and Southern Regions only. The framework agreement will be awarded for an initial term of 4 years with options to extend for a further period of up to 3 years either on an annual basis or longer periods at Network Rail’s discretion thus a total contract period of 7 years. The extension options will be exercised subject to the appointed suppliers’ performance and the availability of funding in CP7. The scope of this contract covers the examination of physical assets on Network Rail owned or managed assets, shared assets, and outside party assets. They include: • Bridges • Retaining Walls • Coastal & Estuary River Defences • Tunnels • Earthworks • Culverts • Operational Property Structure; such as Canopies, Platforms and Train sheds • Ancillary Structures; such as Signal Gantries and OLE Structures. • Miscellaneous Structures not included in the above, where information additional to that obtained from an examination is required to confirm their safe load capacity. • Major Structures
