16-53 Managed Student Support Services

Tender description

The University require a maximum of two (2) suitable Contractors who can provide Managed Student Support Services to our students eligible for support via Disabled Students Allowance. Students awarded DSA will possess a needs assessment that details what support, adjustments and equipment a student requires based on the assessors determination of how their disability and noted symptoms, effects their ability to study and could place them at a disadvantage. This tender is to seek a maximum of two (2) Contractors that ensures we continue to deliver the quota of support that the University of Wolverhampton have been awarded as the selected by Student Finance England or the NHS. This is a Managed Service, the successful Contractor(s) must be able to provide support across the following areas: • Note Takers • Electronic Note Taker (for HI students) / Specialist Note Taker (for deaf students) and Speech To Text Reporter • Electronic Note taker for VI students requiring Braille • Specialist Mentor Mental health conditions • Specialist Mentor (AS) • Specialist one-to-one study skills support (SpLD) • Specialist one-to-one study skills support (AS)(MH) • Language support tutor for the deaf
