<p>Wiltshire Council, Waste Collection and Management, Market Engagement November 2022.&nbsp;</p> <p>Wiltshire Council is seeking input from the waste services sector to help determine the most appropriate way to procure waste collection and management beyond August 2026, when several key contracts are due to expire. The council is keen to take advantage of the opportunities arising from forthcoming changes in national policy and legislation, to improve the performance and quality of services provided for Wiltshire residents.</p> <p>This is the chance for operators to engage with the council to discuss how we could work together to deliver future waste and recycling services, including all collection, waste transfer, Household Waste Recycling Centres, Material Recovery Facility, composting, treatment and disposal services.</p> <p>Those who complete the questionnaire will have the opportunity to meet with council officers to discuss the opportunity.</p> <p>All responses will be kept confidential and only summaries of the information submitted will be published or otherwise shared and these will be anonymised.</p> <p>Once this market engagement is complete, the council intends to agree a procurement strategy by mid-2023, following which agreed formal service procurements will commence.</p> <p>Please ask any questions and submit completed questionnaires to: <a><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: &quot;Open Sans&quot;, sans-serif; background: rgba(249, 249, 249, 1)">wasteprocurement@wiltshire.gov.uk</span></a> by 17.00 on 16^th December 2022.</p> <p>Thank you for your participation!</p> Keywords: Wiltshire Waste Market Engagement.
