Nod yr ail rownd hon o gystadleuaeth HyBRID 2.0 (Ymchwil Busnes Hydrogen ac Arloesi ar gyfer Datgarboneiddio) yw datblygu atebion arloesi ac ymchwil sy’n cefnogi amcanion cynllun Llwybr Hydrogen Cymru sydd wedi’i ymgorffori yn yr ail gynllun lleihau carbon (Net Zero Wales CB2 – 2021-2025). This is a Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) competition funded by the Welsh Government Smart Living. The aim of this second round of the HyBRID 2.0 (Hydrogen Business Research & Innovation for Decarbonisation) competition is to develop innovation and research solutions which support the objectives of the Wales Hydrogen Pathway plan incorporated into the second carbon reduction plan (Net Zero Wales CB2 – 2021-2025). These aim to accelerate the development of technologies and processes which enable the deployment of hydrogen as a keystone energy vector, which will be critical for meeting our national commitment to achieve net zero emissions in Wales by 2050. A maximum of £750,000 million funding is available, inclusive of VAT to deliver Phase 1 of this SBRI challenge.
