Contract Number:  DN643139 Contract Name:     WAN Strategy Pre-Market Engagement     Liverpool City Council are hosting a pre-market engagement event to meet with relevant suppliers to help shape the future Wide-Area-Network strategy of the Council for the next five years or more.   A brief outline of requirements is as follows:   Internet and DDoS   <ul style="margin-top: 0" type="disc"> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">Internet provision consisting of a 10 Gb/s bearer to each data centre, delivered from different PoP’s (Points of Presence).</li> <ul style="margin-top: 0" type="circle"> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">Note: Both DC’s are located in Liverpool Town Centre</li> </ul> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">Two Class C IPV4 public IP address subnets are required to enable migration from incumbent supplier.</li> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">Provision of a cloud based DDoS mitigation service that will automatically detect and mitigate attacks.</li> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">The DDoS mitigation provider should include a portal for the management of bandwidth utilization and DDoS attack reporting.</li> </ul>   Security Managed Services   <ul style="margin-top: 0" type="disc"> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">A fully managed service, 24/7/365 is required, including remote monitoring and vendor maintenance support of the following.</li> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">Fortinet Fortigate 501e firewalls.</li> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">Fortinet Fortigate IPS.</li> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">Checkpoint 7000 firewalls.</li> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">Cisco Firepower FPR 1120 firewalls.</li> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">The supplier must be a ‘gold’ partner or equivalent with the above OEM’s.</li> </ul>   Data Circuits   <ul style="margin-top: 0" type="disc"> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">Replacement of 79 corporate branch site circuits to a minimum bearer bandwidth of 100Mb/s.</li> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">Replacement of 7 Managed Internet access circuits (MIA’s) ranging from 50Mb/s – 1Gb/s.</li> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">Replacement of 3 10Gb/s Ethernet point to point extension circuits.</li> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">Provision of two resilient, high availability (HA) aggregate 1 Gb/s circuits per data centre location, diversely routed and delivered from different Points of Presence (PoPs).</li> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">The ability to provide an SD-WAN trial during the term of the contact.</li> </ul>   Network Maintenance   <ul style="margin-top: 0" type="disc"> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">The Supplier is to provide hardware and operating system maintenance for all Cisco LAN equipment on the Liverpool City Council estate including the Arena and Convention Centre group.</li> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">The supplier must be able to support Cisco switching up to Nexus 9300’s, WIFI, IP Telephony, Contact Centre and ASA firewalls.</li> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">The Supplier must be able to provide Cisco Smartnet total care 24x7x4 support.</li> <li style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal">The Supplier must be a Cisco Gold Partner.</li> </ul>   Further information and a questionnaire may be issued prior to the event.   The event will be held in Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1DS on the morning of 6 December 2022.   To register for the event, please complete the form below and return it via the ProContract portal.   Registration request deadline: Thursday 1 December 2022.   If not already a user of ProContract, your company will need to register on ProContract to be able to register for this event.   To register your organisation on ProContract click on the following link <a href="../../register">https://procontract.due-north.com/register</a>, go to suppliers’ area and click on “register free”.   Once you have registered you will need to go to the “my opportunities” section on the home page of ProContract and follow the instructions as a supplier to enable you to return your registration.
