Tender description
The Provision of DNA Maxwell Kits for the All-Wales Medical Genomics Services situated within the Cardiff & Vale Health Board. Lot 1: The Provision of DNA Maxwell kits that are specifically designed for use on the Maxwell Instruments for automated extraction. The kits are used for the DNA extraction from various sample types yielding high quality DNA. Through scope of the market and discussion with Genetic professionals within and outside the Health Board, it was concluded that only one supplier is able to offer the extraction chemistry on the Maxwell 16 instrument. The provision of the consumables will provide continuity of the service and continue to support patient care throughout the Health Board.
