Tender description
<p>Description of Services Greater Manchester Combined Authority invites you to tender for the supply, delivery and re- collection of scrap cars/vehicles to venues across the Greater Manchester area for Training purposes. The cars/vehicles provided must be de-polluted of all liquids including fuel, engine oil, gearbox oil, brake fluid, clutch fluid, hydraulic fluid etc. Interested companies are required to supply Policy Documents evidence with regard to the following: 1. GMCA will request a copy of their waste carrier’s license (this is a requirement to carry / transfer the vehicle). 2. GMCA will request a waste management license/permit (this is to confirm that site used to de-pollute/ breakdown the vehicle is an Authorised Treatment Facility for End-of-Life Vehicles ELV). 3. GMCA will also request a vehicle Certificate of Destruction (C.O.D.) for all cars & vehicles below 3.5T. GMFRS will, at random select a vehicle and request a copy of the certificate to prove that the selected company are doing what they have said they will do. All cars/vehicles must be structurally sound and have all wheels intact. Cars/vehicles with accident damage are acceptable. 1. Contract Schedule/Special Conditions a. Price variations – The price quoted shall be a fixed price for the duration of the contract specified in 1 (c) below. Prices will include all costs for provision of cars/vehicles, delivery to and removal from Fire and Rescue Service premises. d. Start dates of scheduled training courses, delivery and removal dates and locations (all within the GMFRS boundary) will be provided when the contract has been awarded.</p> Keywords: auxiliary products to transportation, Car, Scrap Cars, Fire , Transport , Transport equipment
