Provision of UK Emissions Trading Scheme (UK ETS) Consultancy Services (2023-27)

Tender description

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) relates to a project to establish a Contract for the Provision of UK Emissions Trading Scheme (UK ETS) Consultancy Services (2023-27) (UOS-22171-2022). This Contract will include, but will not be limited to; - Leading monthly ETS meeting with key stakeholders from the University to manage ongoing permit compliance; - Review input data and CO2 emissions calculation for the 'Annual Emissions Report' submission; - Review of input data, and 'Allocation Level Change' (ALC) calculation for submission of the 'ALC Form'; - Annual review / update of operator procedures, and data collection processes as required by the University; - Review and update of risk assessment; - Providing expert advice and assistance in change requests to SEPA e.g. notification, variation or transfer of permit; - Acting as a reviewer of all information submitted by the University via ETSWAP or the new PMRV system when it is live; - Providing professional advice on scheme changes / developments, and how they will impact on the University as an operator in the scheme; and - Any other services relating to scheme compliance, and deemed as requiring input from the service provider by the University.
