Tender description
NHS Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are commencing a tender to support the provision of NHS Patient Safety Syllabus. The aim of this procurement is to identify a provider(s) to design and deliver training aligned to levels 3 and 4 of the Patient Safety Syllabus for approximately 820 Patient Safety Specialists across the NHS in England, and to implement a model for individual accreditation of training. HEE would need to work with bidder(s) with the knowledge, expertise, capacity and track record to develop and lead on the delivery of the training required for levels 3 and 4. The training must be of high quality, robust, effective and demonstrate value for money. HEE would like a bidder or bidders to deliver the following: Lot 1 - Deliver levels 3 and 4 Patient Safety curriculum training Lot 2 - Implement an Accreditation Model for individual learners (APEL - Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning). This is an exciting opportunity to support Health Education England with this provision. The maximum financial envelope for this procurement exercise is £1,600,000 inclusive of Vat (£1,500,000 Capped £1,750 per trainee - Lot 1 and £100,000 - Lot 2). The contract period will be for fourteen (14) months, with no option to extend. The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is 16th December 2022 at 12:00pm (midday). Late submissions will not be accepted therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time.
