Hexagon Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance Services

Tender description

The delivery of Cleaning and Grounds Maintenance Services to schemes and estates owned and managed by Hexagon Housing Association. Lot 1 is Cleaning Services with estimated annual value of 375,000.00 GBP. Lot 2 is Grounds Maintenance Services with estimated annual value of 475,000.00 GBP. It is intended the contracts will commence in September 2023, and subject to annual reviews by Hexagon Housing Association, run for a period of five years with the option for renewal for an extension of up to a further three years. The maximum duration of the contract is therefore eight years. The total contract value within this notice is therefore subject to review and is not guaranteed. The total contract is also subject to inflation. Lot 1: Cleaning Services - Routine cleaning and some window cleaning services to internal and external communal areas of schemes including schemes housing elderly customers, supported housing and those in need of extra support. - Reactive cleaning services to internal and external communal areas of schemes - Other site-based tasks which may be carried out on a routine or reactive basis - The removal of litter, fly tipping and bulk refuse. Lot 2: Grounds Maintenance Services -Grass Cutting and Maintenance -Edging -Grass Reseeding / Turfing -Supply of Planting Material, mainly shrubs and roses -Shrub Maintenance -Rose Maintenance -Hedge Maintenance -Litter Collection, Sweeping and Clearance of Debris -Application of pesticides, as required and in accordance with the appropriate legislation -Trees – the lifting of trees to facilitate ease of maintenance when undertaking horticultural operations and emergency works as defined within the specification, reactive tree works -Grounds maintenance tasks associated with the maintenance of children’s play areas -Inspection, cleaning, application of preservative and occasional replacement of landscape furniture including bench seats, litter bins, notice boards and signs
