Glass and Windscreen Framework

Tender description

Dublin Bus intends establishing a multi-provider framework panel of suppliers to supply and deliver of Glass and Windscreen parts, to the various depots of Dublin Bus in the greater Dublin area. The Glass and Windscreen parts are required for Dublin Bus’s current fleet, which is approximately 1000 buses as more particularly described on Dublin Bus’s website, and for buses that are added to Dublin Bus’s current fleet during the term of the multi-provider framework agreement. A list of Glass and Windscreen parts that are required will be supplied at tender stage. It is the intention of Dublin Bus to use a multi-provider framework agreement for a term of three years with the possibility of Dublin Bus extending that term by two periods of twelve months. As requirements for Glass and Windscreen parts arise for Dublin Bus during the term of the multi-provider framework agreement Dublin Bus intends inviting the framework participants to tender for those requirements.“ Note to Bidders- Lot sizes will be dependent on baskets of goods awarded to bidder(s) across the different lines- it is not possible to define these in advance due to the nature of the products. Dublin Bus reserves the right to limit the number of lots according to the number of successful bids received, and may not award multiple lots in the circumstance where one vendor is determined to have been successful across all lines
