The University of Limerick Information Technology Division (ITD), ) is responsible for the provision and support of computer systems, networking, and audio visual and media services in the University. ITD provides, manages, maintains, and operates a range of both networking and associated infra- structural services to a diverse community of academics, researchers, management staff, administrators, and students (under / postgraduate) throughout the entire establishment. The maintenance (hardware and software), installation, support, management and development of the University’s Server & Storage Infrastructure is outsourced. ITD are seeking Hardware and Software Storage Management Service, supported by key roles for the list of technologies as detailed in Appendix1. Lot 1: The University of Limerick Information Technology Division (ITD), ) is responsible for the provision and support of computer systems, networking, and audio visual and media services in the University. ITD provides, manages, maintains, and operates a range of both networking and associated infra- structural services to a diverse community of academics, researchers, management staff, administrators, and students (under / postgraduate) throughout the entire establishment. The Campus IT Infrastructure now supports a community of approximately 13,000 undergraduate / postgraduate students and approximately 1,400 staff in a very diverse and demanding range of activities, requiring critical levels of service both within the campus and to the Internet. The maintenance (hardware and software), installation, support, management and development of the University’s Server & Storage Infrastructure is outsourced. ITD are seeking Hardware and Software Storage Management Service, supported by key roles for the list of technologies as detailed in Appendix1.
