Torbay Self-harm Prevention Community Research

Torbay Self-harm Prevention Community Research is a project that is looking to better understand drivers, causes and experiences of self-harm in Torbay. The project will also examine experiences of service provision for self-harm in statutory, third and commercial sectors. This research project will be a collaborative piece of work, coordinated by a supplier who manages the project as well as data collection, analysis and reporting. Where work directly involves people who have experience of self-harm appropriate support must be available. The work will incorporate lived experience/expertise both in terms of interview/workshop participants and the research/project team. The supplier is expected to deliver a report at the conclusion of the project that includes analysis of data collected and recommendations for addressing self-harm in Torbay.
