Tender description
Tenders are sought for the supply, delivery, and installation of two cyst nematode extraction centrifuges. The extraction centrifuge should be capable of extracting nematode cysts from soil based on the Schuiling principle, using a semi-automatic floatation and sieving method. The apparatus MUST consist of a two-part system of: 1. An extraction centrifuge to remove cysts from soil and 2. A decanter (such as an Arvo can or equivalent) to clean the soil debris. The instrument is to be supplied with a warranty, ongoing technical support, and on-site training for staff. The instrument must be compact, with a small footprint to conserve limited laboratory space. The main functional requirements are ease of use and requires minimal maintenance.
