Yorkshire Water Services Limited ("YWS") is seeking to enter agreements for the treatment and disposal of sewage sludge produced at wastewater treatment works in the Yorkshire region. Lot 1: Yorkshire Water Services Limited ("YWS") is seeking to enter agreements for the treatment and disposal of sewage sludge produced at wastewater treatment works in the Yorkshire region. The agreements will be on a 'take or pay' basis and will require service providers to receive and treat undigested sludge cake and subsequently dispose of the treated end-product. YWS anticipates that annual cake volumes will range between 13,000 and 25,000 tons dry solids ("TDS"). YWS will not prescribe the type of treatment process employed, however bid evaluation will consider the environmental impact of services offered. The procurement process is intended to launch in Winter 2022, with targeted completion in Autumn 2023. YWS seeks that commercial operations will commence on 1 April 2025.
