Provision of interpretative facilities at Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum

Tender description

Foynes Aviation and Maritime Museum DAC (“Contracting Authority”) invites tenders (“Tenders”) to this Request For Tenders (“RFT”) from designers, suppliers and exhibition manufacturing and installation companies (“Tenderers”) for the supply of the goods and services as described below. The detailed design (including all graphic design), manufacture and installation of an interpretive exhibition at Foynes Flying Boat and Maritime Museum. The provision of a new audio-visual system to include the design, production and installation of new audio-visual equipment and presentations, to include all show productions and editing of current material. The design, supply and installation of international museum standard showcases to include lighting, shelving and basic environmental controls. This public procurement competition will be divided into 2 lots as described below. Each Lot will result in separate contracts: Lot 1: Design, supply and install all exhibition structures, panels, graphic elements, film sets and services as outlined below. This lot also includes the design, manufacture, supply and installation of international museum standard showcases to the specification below and the relocation of showcases currently at the museum. Lot 2: Design, supply, produce and Install all audio-visual and audio elements to include all show productions and editing of current material. Each lot will result in a separate contract being awarded. Suppliers may tender for one or both lots. Each lot will be evaluated separately against the award criteria outline.
