PCI_Lot_A_027 North Camp Accessibility Scheme - Structural Input & Support

Tender description

A call-off from Lot A of the Place, Connectivity & Infrastructure Professional Services Framework 2022-2026 (Published 4 March 2022). The North Camp Accessibility Scheme includes the reconstruction of the shared footpath / cyclepath along the northern side of the A3011 Lynchford Road to provide an LTN1/20 compliant segregated footway and cycleway. This requires using all of the adopted highway area with works immediately adjacent to private forecourts. The council is also undertaking accommodation works on the private forecourts as part of the scheme. Discussions with the property owners and GPR surveys have identified that some of the properties have basements / cellars which extend beyond the above ground building façade and beneath the private forecourts. Visual inspections have been undertaken for some of the basements / cellars.
