Multi-Party Design Team Services re: the Construction of a Critical Care Unit

Tender description

Beaumont Hospital requires the design and construction of a new Emergency Critical Care Unit on a specific site within the Hospital campus. The Critical Care Unit will be a purpose-designed 64-bed facility that will consolidate care within a single location with excellent links to the Hospital’s core. The proposed unit will provide 16 no. bed modules on each of the four flours, subdivided into modules of eight beds, thus meeting the highest standards in terms of isolation facilities and support accommodation. Beaumont Hospital intends to appoint an architect-led, multi-disicplinary design team. Each discipline will be the subject of a separate appointment; however, groupings of separate disicplines must come together (under the leadership of the architectural discipline) and prepare a single overall submission in order to participate in this competition.
