<p>SBC wish to engage both current providers AND potential new providers for the purpose of forming a new Framework Agreement for specialist residential placements, to address the gaps in provision that cannot be met currently.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>An initial Market Engagement event was held on 20 September (Slides for this are attached, along with the draft Service Specification)</strong></p> <p>This event explored what the market can offer to deal with some of the key issues in sourcing placements for the clients with the following support needs:</p> <p>1. Individuals with Significant/ enduring mental health support needs</p> <p>2. Individuals with Highly Complex mental health support needs</p> <p>3. Individuals with need for Mental Health Nursing Care</p> <p>4. Individuals in need of Emergency Short-term Accommodation</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>A second Market Engagement event is now proposed for 30 November 2022 at 11:45am, for approx 1 hour.</strong></p> <p>This event will look at feedback from the previous session, including those regarding the draft service specification. It will also look to provide further clarification regarding the planned use of CareCubed with this Framework.</p> <p>Another purpose of the event is to elaborate on how the approach to calling off placements from the Framework is likely to work.</p> <p>If you attended the initial event on 20 September you will automatically be invited to this second event.&nbsp; If you did not attend, it will be necessary for you to <strong>provide contact details of your nominations, to be added to a TEAMS event invitation list.</strong></p> <p>Please send these requests via the NEPO portal messaging function.</p> <p>If you have not reviewed and provided comments on the draft Service Specification, we would still welcome feedback, to be provided through messaging.</p> Keywords: Emergency Accommodation, Complex Needs, Nursing Care, residential, Aggression, Mental Health
