Glasgow Tourism and Visitor Plan 2023 Refresh

The Company, on behalf of the Glasgow Tourism Partnership invite submissions from consultants to carry out a refresh of the city’s Tourism and Visitor Plan. The Plan was originally prepared in 2016, with a timeline through to 2023. Since its original creation, the plan has benefited from a mid-term review and updated action plan. The environment in which the tourism industry operates has changed dramatically over the past two years and The Company require a strategic plan which reflects these changes. Partners are now keen to refresh the strategy to reflect an enhanced focus on sustainability, accessibility, tourism’s key role in contributing to the city’s economic recovery and citizen engagement. The Company are looking to appoint a globally respected consultant, who must be a leading agency for tourism, destination management and strategic planning. The Company would like the refreshed plan fully finalised by March 2023. Considering the mid-term review and action plan (detailed within the ITT document), The Company are looking to refresh the Glasgow Tourism & Visitor Plan 2023. The project requires: - Desk-Based Review - Review of Existing Strategy and Governance Models - Industry & Stakeholder Engagement - Citizen Consultation Phase - Capture Outputs Effectively - Communication - Production of a New 2030 Strategy and a 2-Year Action Plan - Project Support
