Tender description

The EA is looking to procure one Contractor to deliver the requirements outlined in this Opportunity Notice. A separate contract will be commissioned for an External Peer Reviewer (EPR), who will assist the EA and Contractor on the main contract with decision making and quality checks as part of the Task Review Team. It is now close to two decades since the original groundwater model was developed. It requires updating with meteorological, abstraction and hydrometric data time series data from January 2002 to December 2021, so that it is up to date, and the EA can use it confidently to manage the water resources and assess impacts of abstraction. The model also requires upgrading from MODFLOW 96 to the modelling codes agreed by the project team.
