Tender description

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council ('The Council') wish to appoint a suitable Supplier to service hook-compactors and hook-containers located at the Council's Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) on an ad-hoc basis. The Council Depot situated at Greenbank Industrial Estate, Newry, will be the chief administrative hub from which instructions will be issued and relevant documentation will be returned. Although the Council normally services the sites using its own in-house service, occasional back-up is required due to high usage at the sites and for breakdown cover. As and when required, the Supplier will be engaged to assist the Council to ensure that sufficient capacity is available at the Council Household Recycling Centres to maintain service delivery.
