22/051 - Provision of Catering Lot 1: Irish Water (the Contracting Entity) intends to procure a single provider for Catering Services. The Contracting Entity has a requirement for catering services throughout its head office and national estate. The services to be included as part of the contract will range from the provision of a high quality full-staff restaurant service (breakfast, lunch & hot beverages) free issue and hospitality services, the delivery and supply of free issue supplies to the Regional Offices, the supply and servicing of tea and coffee stations and supply and management of vending machines. There is also a requirement for the provision of on demand services such as ad hoc late hospitality services. Irish Water requires the delivery of a free issue service to the regional locations currently in scope plus any new sites as and when required (potentially this could increase exponentially as required by Irish Water). This service must be delivered with uniformity and consistency. The purpose of this RFI is to investigate and ascertain from the market potential solutions to service this requirement. In advance of a procurement activity, Irish Water is conducting a market sounding exercise to understand what is available in the market and will suit its needs. This PIN notice is intended to find interested parties who wish to engage with Irish Water in this exercise. Irish Water may invite up to six interested parties with proven experience in Catering services to present and show case their offering in a workshop in the Irish Water Head Office in Dublin, Ireland. Further details on the workshop will be provided to selected parties.
