Tender description

1. Description of the Service 1.1 The service includes external and internal window cleaning of all the building in the University of Bristol Portfolio. 1.2 The contract will be for 3 years with a possible extension year (subject to funding). 1.3 The UoB is requesting a quote for all buildings listed with Section 6 of this document - Property Affected by the Service. All quotes should be in accordance with the specifications below and in accordance with the guidance provided within Section 3.2 of the Tender’s Commercial Envelope. 1.4 For the purposes of this tender, please provide a quote based on cleaning each building once a year. UoB will evaluate bids based on this, but all quantities are estimated and cannot be guaranteed – the UoB reserves the right to increase or decrease the frequency of cleans required as necessary. 1.5 The UoB is requesting transparency of pricing to enable the inclusion of future buildings and removal of extant buildings from the schedule during the contract period. Within your quote, please provide hourly rates and numbers of skilled and unskilled operatives required. Any changes during the contract period will be agreed between the University and the Contractor, and the contract will be amended to reflect any changes. 1.6 The Site Visit will be held on 30th January at 10.00-12.00 this will be for all suppliers shortlisted. There will also be a request for a short presentation and the confirmation of questions asked and your ability to complete the tasks.
