Tender description

The University is looking for a range of catering options for 4+1 years, supplied by multiple ‘local’ catering operators for the provision of Third-Party catering and events including (but not limited to): 1. Alcohol and Soft drinks 2. Delivered Catering (including business lunch menu’s). 3. Serviced Catering (including fine dining service) 4. Pop-up/mobile catering Your catering business/ food & drink supply company may be able to offer 1 or more of the 4 areas. Key Objectives  Increase our % of local suppliers located within a 30-mile radius of the Central Bristol Campus from 50% to 60% (by geographical location)  We will use zero plastic packaging for our in-house food ranges.  We will reduce our single-use packaging even further and aim for 95% of products sold plastic free.  We will map carbon related to all food and drink offerings and reduce it by 25% by 2024  Streamline offerings and pricing to increase non-dairy based milk sales by 10% to ensure they are accessible to all, re-imagining traditional dairy as a supporting role  Reduce the use of hazardous chemicals by 60% and replace them with eco-certified alternatives  Implement a closed loop disposable recycling scheme for Disposable Packaging by 2024  Identify and provide appropriate training, advice and information for all staff and encourage them to develop new ideas
